Free Freight in the Lower 48
Every DIY Flood Barrier Kit ordered online ships free to addresses in the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). Freight shipping is built into the price, and liftgate delivery is included, so there’s nothing extra to pay at checkout.
- 42-Inch DIY Flood Plank Barrier Kit: $1,495. Ships in one box, 18 x 18 x 44 inches, about 125 lb.
- 78-Inch DIY Flood Plank Barrier Kit: $1,995. Ships in one box, 18 x 18 x 80 inches, about 250 lb.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, outside the U.S., or for large, multi-kit, or custom orders is quoted on a per-order basis. Call us before ordering and we’ll give you a price.
Processing and Delivery Times
Orders ship within 7 to 10 business days. Kits ship via FedEx Freight. After shipment, transit takes 1 to 3 business days with FedEx Freight Priority or 3 to 6 business days with FedEx Freight Economy.
Once your order ships, we’ll send your tracking information. The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries arrive Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., within a 4-hour window. Someone must be present to receive the shipment. Freight is delivered curbside, and we can’t deliver to P.O. boxes.
Inspect Your Delivery
Please check every box before signing. If anything looks damaged or missing, write it on the delivery receipt.
Damaged Items
If your kit arrives damaged, note the damage on the delivery receipt, take photos of the damage and the packaging, and contact us promptly, within 10 days of delivery, with the photos and a short description of the problem. Once we review your photos, we’ll replace the damaged items at no charge to you.
Returns
All sales are final unless this section says otherwise.
- Standard stock kits (our ready-made door kits in standard sizes) can be returned within 10 days of delivery. The kit must be unused, uninstalled, complete, and in its original packaging. Returns are charged a 20% restocking fee, and you pay the return shipping. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can approve the return and give you instructions. Refunds go back to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the kit.
- Custom openings and custom-built products are made to your measurements and are final sale. We don’t return, exchange, or refund them.
